A LA ESCUELA, CON EL LAPTOP, NO CON LOS LIBROS DE TEXTO

"By 2012 the Rwandans want to be supplied with... advanced laptops... These will be made from a single piece of plastic. They will be waterproof, harder to break, have colour screens, yet could cost as little as $75 each. With prices that low, say the Rwandans, children might be able to keep one laptop through their entire school career. Schoolwork, textbooks and a library of other books and applications would be stored in them, with screens designed to be readable in bright sunshine and to use minimal power in huts without electricity at night".

Si los libros de texto de un niño español cuestan 200-300 euros por curso escolar ¿por qué no se venden ordenadores portátiles con los textos ya incluidos. Ni que decir tiene que las posibilidades de utilizar videos, fotografías y todo internet para estudiar son enormes. En la escuela solo tendrían que tener papel y boli para escribir; el profe podría enviar los deberes a los niños electrónicamente de manera que los padres solo tendrían que abrir el ordenador al llegar el niño a casa para estar perfectamente informados. Además, ganaríamos en salud escolar: los niños no tendrían que ir tan cargados al cole.
